Abdul-Raheem Abdullah

Professionally, Abdullah has over 20 years of government service and over 16 years of nonprofit management services. In each discipline he has served in numerous administrative management leadership roles. Scholastically, Abdullah holds an associate, baccalaureate, and a master’s degree in public administration, recreational leadership, and business administration. He has a marvelously fine-tuned awareness of local, state, and national politics. Abdullah is a passionate and devoted administrator; a generous leader always willing to reach down to pull up the least among us. As Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer for the Prince George’s County Education Coalition, Inc., since its inception. Abdullah has been instrumental in encouraging elected leadership, business, religious and different segments of the community to help raise the bar for needing elementary schools. What is more, through his leadership he has advocated for, and as a result ignited a powerful parental engagement component in support for children’s education; And, has contributed to the resounding success of assisting below grade level scholars who are now succeeding as grade level scholars. The ultimate goal for Abdullah as leader of the Coalition is to ensure that integrity, transparency, and equity in public elementary education prevail. Especially, for title 1 elementary schools where underprovided below grade level scholars frequently attend.
