Program Services

PGCEC offers Tutoring, Mentoring, Field Trips, Bully Prevention Plus, STEM Education, Parent Engagement,
Community Engagement and General Services to our Partnering Elementary School students.

Support Program

This 501c3 organization supports academic learners through our Tutoring, Mentoring, Parent Engagement, Bully Prevention, STEM Education, and Delinquency Prevention Programming. We especially assist learners in grades k thru 12, in public and private institutions. We, through our support for academic learners, negotiate with local or private groups, organizations, foundations, local, state, and federal governmental organizations. We advocate assertively in support for parents to be fully engaged in the learner’s academic experience. 

Tutoring

This effort provides an opportunity for learners be they, 3rd level learners, (learners who may be several grade levels behind in their core subjects), deficient in reading, math, or both to receive academic, personal or special assistance from our in-school, group, or contracted tutoring provider. 

Mentoring

These services are available for academic learners needing assistance in curtailing unacceptable behavior. These services are upon request from parents or through a recommendation from a partnering sponsor. We utilize several different evidence base mentoring efforts to help curtail the academic learner’s behavior.

Delinquency Prevention

We provide Delinquency Prevention Services to children and youth whose behavior is outside of reasonable collaborative interaction. Entry is based upon family or program referrals; We strongly advocate for parental engagement throughout ALL of their children's delinquency prevention experiences.

Parent Engagement

This service is offered to support and stimulate family engagement through effective communication, relationship building, parenting and child-rearing enhancement’s, tips in understanding child and adolescent development, and setting home conditions that support children as learners at each age and grade level, provide support for parent(s) and assist the soliciting groups, organizations, institutions, and schools’ community in understanding parent(s) and families. 

Bully Prevention

This effort is offered to soliciting groups, organizations, institutions, and schools to prevent, support, and assist learners who are bullied, those who bully others, and those who witness bullying. And, to ensure that our learners are safe while in a learning environment, and that they understand the conditions that may influence bullying and to formulate intervention and prevention strategies. 

Stem Pilot Education Program

This program offers learners the opportunity to strengthen their STEM subjects’ capabilities and become exposed to STEM professions/professionals with the goal of building a sustained interest and allowing seeds to be planted for continued studies. Our program’s main partners will be key corporate members from the business community, who will demonstrate the diversity of STEM subjects and careers.
